The 17-year-old, who is the daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and ex-wife Shanna Moakler, chatted with E! News at Beautycon in Los Angeles on Saturday about how her famous dad and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, are expecting their first baby together.
"I just think having another family member is always awesome," Alabama told the outlet.
"Getting to know a new person, it's gonna be so fun and so exciting!" she added.
Back in April, Alabama penned a sweet birthday tribute to Kardashian on her 44th birthday.
"Happy birthday Kourt," she wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. "You're the best stepmom I could ask for, you are so caring and generous for others, you are such a family person and such a hard-working mom."
"Even if you don't feel good or had a hard day, you always put your family first," the teenager added. "You have such a beautiful aura, I wouldn't want another stepmom."
Travis, 47, shares Alabama, as well as son Landon Barker, 19, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya with Moakler, 48.
Kardashian, meanwhile, also shares Mason Dash, 13, Penelope Scotland, 11, and Reign Aston, 8, with her ex-partner, Scott Disick.
Kardashian and Barker announced their pregnancy news in June, when the Lemme founder held up a “Travis I’m Pregnant” sign at a Blink-182 concert. The couple then shared a video of the moment in a joint Instagram post.
The pair, who are expecting a baby boy, faced a pregnancy complication earlier this month, when Kardashian had to undergo urgent fetal surgery.
