Berlin-based artist Anne Duk Hee Jordan invites you to immerse yourself in her multisensory installation, I Will Always Weather With You, on display at The Bass from December 4, 2023, through June 23, 2024. This thought-provoking exhibition explores the resilience of life on Earth amidst the growing challenges of climate change.
Open weekly from Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the installation features three distinct zones—land, water, and air—each representing different aspects of the natural world. Visitors will be transported into a dynamic environment that blends video projections of ocean streams, meteorological data, and mirrored walls that create a visually unstable, infinitely reflecting space. The use of sculpture, sound, and robotics further enhances this immersive experience.
Anne Duk Hee Jordan, originally from Korea and now residing in Berlin, uses technology and art to examine the intricate relationship between nature and human innovation. Her work at The Bass is particularly poignant for South Florida and Miami Beach, regions frequently affected by powerful storm events.
This exhibition marks Jordan’s first solo showcase in the United States, offering a unique opportunity to engage with her innovative approach to art and environmental awareness.
