Blake Lively has revealed a lesser-known side of herself: her passion for floristry. The Gossip Girl alum took to Instagram on Saturday, July 27, to share her long-standing love for arranging flowers, a hobby she has cherished since moving to New York City as a teenager.

"I’ve always thought I was a florist, well before playing one," Lively, 36, wrote, referring to her role as Lily Bloom in the upcoming film It Ends with Us. "I buy corner store flowers, take them home, reassemble them & give them new life. Ever since I moved to the city at 19, that’s been one of my creative and meditative anchors."

Lively described the joy she finds in floristry, calling it "straight up peace." She explained how the activity combines design, nature, and a multi-sensory experience, making her feel like the "luckiest person on the planet."

In her post, she also shared photos of flower arrangements she created with her It Ends with Us co-star, Isabela Ferrer, who plays a younger version of her character. "It’s neat to see our personalities come through in the flowers," Lively noted. "We were rushing, but I’m a proud peacock over our arrangements!"

It Ends with Us, based on Colleen Hoover's best-selling novel, is set to be released on August 9. In the film, Lively's character, Lily, moves to Boston to open a flower shop after her father's funeral, only to discover family secrets and rekindle feelings for her first love, Atlas Corrigan.

Lively's post is a testament to the therapeutic power of floristry and how it has been a constant source of peace and creativity in her life.
