Held over Memorial Day weekend, there are over 300 performances dedicated to Floirda’s heritage.
Each year a theme is chosen by the Department of State’s Florida Folklife Program. The festival began 68 years ago at the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park located on the Suwannee River.
One of the unique music festivals in Florida it is called Florida’s Best Cultural Event. There are craft areas, a Seminole camp, folklife areas, dancing, workshops, children area and marketplace.
