Dive into rich conversations, interactive events, and cultural discovery at the first-ever Florida Humanities Festival, hosted by Florida Humanities, the state’s affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The festivities begin on Friday evening, March 8, at the Historic Hampton House, offering a chance to socialize with the staff and board of Florida Humanities, alongside festival panelists and enthusiasts of the humanities.

The celebration continues on Saturday, March 9, at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, packed with a daylong agenda. Participants will explore a wide array of human experiences in South Florida, touching upon its literature, diverse cultures, music, culinary arts, and history through engaging discussions, art excursions, a film presentation, networking sessions, and vibrant celebrations. The event will conclude with a live performance from the Cuban folk/country ensemble, Cortadito.
