The Jonas Brothers star— who recently filed for divorce from wife of four years, Sophie Turner — was pictured laughing backstage during a stop on the band's Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour with his brothers Kevin, 35, and Nick, 31, in photos posted on Instagram Friday.
“Kevin spilled a drink on himself,” Joe, 34, wrote in his caption, explaining the reason for his joy in the snaps.
The first image in the carousel showed the younger Jonas Brother looking back at Kevin, who was also standing backstage. And though the pics didn't capture the moment in question, Joe was clearly delighted by his brother's spillage, as other images showed him bent forward and clutching his chest while laughing as well as covering his hand with his mouth mid-laugh.
Unfortunately, Kevin didn't seem to be too impressed by the post, adding a middle finger emoji in response in the comment section.
Though Joe didn't indicate where the photos were taken, the Jonas Brothers' most recent tour date was in Denver, Colorado on Thursday night. The musician has continued to perform across the U.S. amid his divorce from Turner, 27, which was revealed earlier this month.
The divorce filing claims "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken" and states that Joe and Turner have a prenup in place.
Following the divorce filing, Joe has appeared on stage without his wedding ring, including in Las Vegas on September 8, during a performance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The following Saturday, the band performed at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and ahead of singing the group's song "Hesitate" from their 2019 album Happiness Begins, which was inspired by Turner, 27, Joe — who again was without his wedding ring — took a moment to address the crowd.
"It's been a crazy week," he said, as fans erupted into cheers.
"I just want to say, if you don't hear it from these lips, don't believe it. Okay?" the musician continued. "Thank you, everyone, for the love and support to me and my family. I love you guys."
Joe and Turner addressed their divorce in a shared statement on social media on September 6. “Statement from the two of us: 'After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,' ” they both shared on Instagram.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,' " the statement concluded.
