Six years after their divorce, Justin Theroux, 53, still holds a special place in his heart for ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. In a recent interview with The Times promoting his upcoming film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Theroux reflected on their relationship, describing Aniston as "still very dear" to him. The couple, who married in 2015 and split in 2018, have maintained a close friendship despite their separation.

Theroux also expressed his protective nature towards the Friends star, especially in light of her recent response to controversial comments made by Sen. J.D. Vance. Vance, who is Donald Trump’s running mate for the 2024 election, made dismissive remarks about women who haven't had children, labeling them as "childless cat ladies." Aniston, 55, fired back on Instagram, referencing her own struggles with infertility and IVF, which she had candidly discussed in a 2022 interview with Allure.

In his interview, Theroux praised Aniston’s resilience, saying, "She batted back criticism, as well she should," reinforcing his support for her. Despite moving on with their lives—Theroux is now engaged to actress Nicole Brydon Bloom—his connection with Aniston remains strong.

Theroux and Bloom, 30, recently got engaged in Italy, with Bloom debuting her engagement ring at the Venice Film Festival during the premiere of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. As Theroux embarks on this new chapter, he continues to cherish the bond he shares with Aniston.
