Perry, 39, embraced a bold fashion choice with a CELINE by Hedi Slimane ensemble featuring a bandeau bra and a high-waisted skirt, complemented by an embroidered veil in double silk satin. Her edgy outfit was matched with a sleek high bun and micro-bangs, which highlighted her dramatic smokey winged eyeshadow and matte brown lipstick. She kept her accessories minimal, opting for geometric silver dangle earrings that added just the right touch of sparkle.
Bloom, 47, coordinated with Perry in a modern black tuxedo paired with a mock turtleneck shirt. His classic yet contemporary look provided a perfect complement to Perry’s striking outfit, allowing her to take center stage.
The couple’s red carpet appearance came a day after Perry discussed their past on the Call Her Daddy podcast. Reflecting on their initial meeting at the 2016 Golden Globes, Perry admitted that their relationship began on uncertain grounds. “We weren’t, like, really in it from day one,” Perry shared. She explained that Bloom had just emerged from a period of celibacy, while she was freshly out of another relationship. Despite the rocky start, both Perry and Bloom did significant inner work and healing, eventually reconciling and becoming engaged. They now share a daughter, Daisy Dove, born in 2020.
Perry praised Bloom for his support, saying, “One of his strengths [is] when I crumble, he can step in and be that anchor. That's amazing.” During the premiere, Bloom echoed Perry's sentiments, revealing to PEOPLE that his love language is "acts of service" and "showing up."
The Cut features Bloom as a boxer striving for a championship title after retirement. Directed by Sean Ellis, the film also stars Caitríona Balfe and John Turturro.
All eyes were on the couple as they reaffirmed their strong bond and stylish presence on the red carpet.
