On Thursday, May 23, the rapper and actor, 34, posted a video on TikTok highlighting the creation of a miniature Norwegian-style boat, complete with oars and a sail. This project holds special significance for MGK, as he dedicated it to the baby he and his fiancée, Megan Fox, lost during her pregnancy.

The video captures MGK meticulously carving a block of wood, sculpting it with various tools, and finishing it with wood varnish before adding the sails and oars. "I just finished the boat," he said in the final clip. "These are the final details of the ship." In the caption, MGK revealed the project's emotional meaning, writing, "My first wood carving. For a special soul that will be found again," accompanied by a heart-hands emoji.

Fans responded with overwhelming support and admiration for MGK's craftsmanship and the heartfelt tribute. Comments included messages like, "Hoping you find the peace you deserve brother," and "Please carve more. Watching this was so therapeutic." Another fan noted, "There’s something so therapeutic about working with your hands on a special project."

The significance of the project is closely tied to the loss Fox revealed in her 2023 poetry book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. In her book, Fox, 38, expressed the pain of her miscarriage with poignant lines such as, "Maybe if you hadn't... maybe if I had..." and "I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh," concluding with the sorrowful, "but now / I have to say / goodbye."

MGK previously dedicated a performance of his song "Twin Flame" to Fox and their unborn child at the Billboard Music Awards in May 2022, stating, "And this is for our unborn child." He also released a song titled "dont let me go" in February 2024, with lyrics that reference their loss: "How can I live with the fact / That my hand wasn't on her stomach when we lost the baby."

MGK is a father to 14-year-old daughter Casie Colson Baker, whom he shares with ex Emma Cannon. Fox is a mother to three sons, Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6, whom she shares with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. In an interview with Good Morning America last fall, Fox opened up about the miscarriage, describing it as an unprecedented experience for her. "I've never been through anything like that in my life," she said. "I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, 'What does this mean?' and 'Why did this happen?' "
