Miami's beloved artist and poet, Oscar Fuentes, known widely as The Biscayne Poet, will captivate audiences at a special event hosted by Books & Books. On July 18, starting at 6:30 PM, the Coconut Grove bookstore will come alive with readings from Fuentes' renowned poetry collections, followed by an engaging open mic session where local talents can shine.
Fuentes, recognized with the inaugural Miami-Dade Mayoral Poetry Commendation, will share insights into his 30-year artistic journey. Admission is free, and books will be available for purchase, making it an evening not to be missed for poetry enthusiasts and aspiring writers alike.
