Part of Teatro Avante's 38th International Hispanic Theater Festival of Miami, Éter promises a powerful theatrical experience. Running from July 26-28 at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center, this production, written by Marian Pabón Catalá and presented by DE LA LEGUA Inc. ArteBoricua from San Juan, Puerto Rico, explores the hidden truths within a seemingly ordinary relationship.
Éter follows the life of Sole, a woman devoted to caring for her paraplegic husband, Azael. The play delves into their love story, tracing it from their initial meeting to their marriage. However, as the narrative unfolds, uncomfortable situations arise, leading Sole to question everything she thought she knew. Through introspection, dark secrets are revealed, forcing a reevaluation of their relationship.
