A viral video of Jason Kelce showing off his high-energy dance moves before ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast has his brother, Travis Kelce, in hysterics. During the Sept. 18 episode of their New Heights podcast, the Kelce brothers discussed Jason’s impromptu performance that took place ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles' game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 16.
In the clip, Jason can be seen dancing enthusiastically to a techno remix of MILLION DOLLAR BABY by Tommy Richman, much to the delight of fans. As the video made its rounds on social media, it quickly became a sensation. Speaking on the podcast, Travis couldn’t contain his laughter as he recounted watching the clip over and over, sharing that he’s “crying laughing” every time he sees it.
"I keep watching it, and I keep crying laughing, man. I was so proud. I was so proud. Everyone thinks I'm the dancer," Travis, known for his own moves—especially those seen while dancing with his girlfriend Taylor Swift—said during the episode.
Jason, however, seemed more self-critical of his performance. He admitted that his wife, Kylie Kelce, was less than impressed, likening his moves to his usual "stomp." Reflecting on the dance, Jason said, "It wasn't my best running man. I've been better at running man," while his brother chimed in, joking that Jason needed "like 10 beers" to get that level of energy in his knees.
The story behind Jason's dance is equally amusing. He explained that he had arrived too early for the pregame event, leading him to kill time by interacting with DJs at the tailgate party. "I walked over there way too early. I had to kill 30 minutes before the show started. And I'm just up there with these DJs just standing there. I'm like, 'I gotta do something,' " Jason recalled.
Travis, always the supportive sibling, couldn’t stop praising his brother’s dance moves. "Dude, you are the most electric dancer I've ever met in my life. You can put a smile on anybody's face by dancing," the Kansas City Chiefs star said, expressing his gratitude for the viral moment. "Thank you for that. I'll have that forever. I'll have that in my back pocket on a f------ cloudy day."
Jason, who has always maintained a playful and lighthearted attitude, took the teasing from fans in stride. He joked on the podcast about seeing clown emojis on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "Just countless people quoting a picture of you dancing and saying, 'This is a full-grown adult male with kids, and he's doing this in public.' I'm like, 'You know what? I mean, you got a good point. It's ridiculous.' "
Despite the jokes, the moment was a highlight of the pregame festivities. Another video shared by ESPN showed Jason interacting with fans, signing jerseys, tossing beers, and dancing with the Eagles mascot during the pregame tailgate. Jason admitted to his co-hosts that he might have overdone it with the energy, joking, "I don't know if I have any more energy, guys," when he finally joined them on stage for the main event.
While Jason may not have been thrilled with his dance moves, Travis’s infectious laughter and admiration prove that, regardless of any online teasing, Jason Kelce knows how to steal the show—and make his brother proud in the process.
