We’re at home and we’ve got more free time in our hands, so it’s the perfect time to take a trip abroad, albeit a virtual one, to some of the world’s most beautiful sites. Thanks to Google Earth, you can now go on a virtual adventure and explore 30 stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sites and discover some of these beautiful sites like you’ve never seen them before!
If you feel like going on a trip to places like Angkor Wat or the Alhambra in Granada is just as easy as heading over to Google Earth’s website and take a quick scroll through the options to see what catches your eye.
Take a close look at some of the wonders of the world such as the Taj Mahal, the ancient city of Pompeii, the beautiful Indonesian temple of Borobudur or the enigmatic sphynx and pyramids of Giza.
Other incredible sites available on the platform include the French palace of Versailles, the Royal Kew Gardens in London and the mysterious Stonehenge as well as natural wonders like the Italian Dolomites and the gorgeous Jasovska Cave in Slovakia home to numerous archeological findings from the Paleolithic and Neolithic.
