Miami’s Zilberman Gallery in the Design District is currently showcasing Young Fresh Different Miami, a thrilling exhibition that runs until August 23, 2024. This dynamic show shines a spotlight on the next generation of artists under 35, all based in Florida. Organized in collaboration with Fountainhead Arts, the exhibition celebrates the rich diversity and multiculturalism that define the region’s burgeoning art scene.
From over 100 submissions, a carefully selected group of 15 artists was chosen by a distinguished Selection Committee, which included Omar Lopez-Chahoud (Artistic Director of Untitled Art Fair), artist Omar Barquet, collector and Fountainhead’s Board Vice President Teresa Enriquez, and Zilberman gallerists Nazli Yayla and Gladys Garrote. The chosen artists explore deep themes of identity, cultural heritage, and self-discovery through various mediums, such as painting, installation, video art, sculpture, and conceptual art.
Artists like Addison Wolff, Alberto Alejandro Rodríguez, Amanda Linares, and Anna Miorelli—along with 11 others—bring their unique perspectives to life in this exhibition. Reflecting the multicultural tapestry of Florida, their works offer fresh insights into both personal and collective narratives, making this exhibition a must-see for anyone interested in the future of art in Miami.
