Follow the mythical warrior Ai Apaec through his journey to death and subsequent rebirth and discover the forces of nature that inspired some of the most stunning golden treasures ever to be created.

Rivaled only by Ancient Egypt in longevity and by the Roman Empire in engineering, Andean societies dominated a substantial segment of South America for over 3,000 years. Nestled in a cloud forest the Incas created an empire of architectural prowess and astounding riches, protected by the towering peaks of the Andes, unseen from below.

This world premiere exhibition will take you on an unprecedented journey through Machu Picchu, the jewel of the Incan Empire and one of the new seven wonders of the world as you explore its marvelous treasures in an enthralling immersive experience.

Explore over 100 artifacts retrieved from royal tombs that once belonged to noble Andean lords, come face-to-face with one of the most impressive collections of gold treasures to ever tour the world and all while being accompanied by the sounds of roaring jaguars, screaming macaws and torrential rainfall!

Also part of the exhibition is a special VR experience that will allow you to get up close and personal with the wonders of Machu Picchu’s citadel. Filmed during the lockdown of 2020 when the city was completely closed off to visitors, the experience features the founder of Machu Picchu, the grand Inca emperor Pachacuti, who infuses viewers with the spirit of the condor then flies with them across the magnificent landscape.  Cinematic chairs will enhance this VR experience with additional surprise effects that will even have you tasting the fresh mountain air of the Andes!
